Most of the people just punch their card and leave the office asap.

As most of them stay in nearby PG's they'll eventually come after dinner ( as a sort of walk) and they'll punch out. So mostly 9-10 hours.

So far there has been no issue for timings. All they need is a punch in for the day. Still I stay there for at least 4 hours and on some days 7 to 8 hours. Rest is top up.

I got one warning letter mail stating I'm not following minimum working hours policy

Then I think you should follow if got a warning. I didn't get as such till I was on bench and mostly people are doing this only

I am currently reporting to Mumbai office, I used to stay there between 7-8 hours daily and it took me around 3 hours each way, means 6 hours of daily travelling
