No one will beat you for celebrating your community's festival, this is unnecessary fear mongering. There non-South communities celebrating their baisakhi, chath, durga pujas, navratri for years now.

Provide context. Why would anyone speak language A in a place where everyone speaks either language B or C or even D. You would then either attempt to proceed communicating in B,C or D but not insist on continuing to speak in A. Right? Unless you still deliberately choose to do so? In which case yes, fools will get beaten up. So please provide context
