Trending @Infosys; Any layoffs are happening in infy currently? Other companies are doing mass layoffs. Atleast infy is good in that sense.

There is pressure on all managers to give NI rating and below to atleast 10% of their reportees. Previous year it was 5%. So it won’t be a direct lay off but indirect lay off for now. 10% NI means 4-5% will fail PIP and be out or resign. Managers will be forced to find some flaw/some escalation etc to for edit someone in NI if there aren’t brought people to fit NI 10%.

It's interesting then on what basis manager will give NI ratings.

Why would org lay off a billable resource? It's their loss. They will lay off only those employees who are not billable or those who should be offboarded from project as per client need.

Resources resigning due to the micromanagement, escalations for work that are not in scope, favouritism and more .. It may be kind of layoffs

If he is the CEO, planning to sue him for telling his plans?!

If you are good at your shit you shouldn't be asking this question in the first place, get your shit together. Read your environment everything will tell you.. your teammates, manager and the company.

Brutal truth if nobody wants to hold you now you are not doing something right, but if you yourself are worried about layoffs then you might need to reconsider what all things you are missing.
