Yeah, TCS sometimes delays joining dates, it's frustrating. Your friend should keep in touch with HR and maybe explore other options too

Not good to join TCS if he has less than 15 years of experience and planning to Retire in TCS..!
Retirement or Onsite, these are the options, other than that nothing great here..! No on time hikes, No QVA

Tell your friend to give more interview and look for a better company rather than joining TCS

In tcs after 5 December no more joining happens It will always happen in next quarter
