
Trending @Infosys; Any infosys Danske captive employee on grapevine?
Hi folks, If you were part of Danske Captive which infosys bought. Had a few questions out of curiosity
- I understand that like any captive Danske would be paying 80-100% more same/similar roles in Infosys. So when you moved to infosys did they keep your CTC intact? I.e same variable pay percent etc.
- After coming to infosys has your variable pay been impacted yet or you are still getting the same %
- Read something about 2 year ring fencing clause . So what happens after 2 years?
- What is general mood amongst such employees. Cause attest I know ex infoScion’s who had joined Danske and within 1 year infy bought Danske and he immediately quit.

For point 1: yes for all the transitioned employee from Danske, salary is kept as same infact they corrected by adding super annuation to our ctc which means everybody would have got little more in their ctc.
For point 2: variable pay is still the same(10%) for everyone. for the ones who got promotion after they got transitioned then their variable component would have increased. JL5-15%, JL6-20%
For point 3: ring fencing was only for 1 year thats why they paid bridge allowance and after 1 year, if they wanted to change they would have changed but luckily we dont see any change till now.
For point 4: we have seen almost 98% of acceptance ratio during the transition and yes gradually people have left over the period and rest are waiting for this year hike and we might see more people leaving after the hike. The general mood is nobody is happy with the buy out, just that they want to run the family they are staying

Thanks this a very informative reply. So is my assumption correct that a JL5 from Danske ( consultant / team lead ) would easily be making 30L + in infosys where a normal JL5 would be making between 12-22 in infosys .

JL5 25-35L based on experience and skill

In a nutshell, if you were earning 100 in danske, now with Infosys change the earnings are around 85-90.

Mine was actually a question to Danske folks. Hope you are not summarising my points. Assuming you were a Danske emp and effectively your are saying you got 10-20 pay cut because of this bit out. But still I think you will be way above your peers at infy. Heard JL5 in Danske are making 30L+

Truth is most of the people from Danske IT transfered to and staying with Infy beaccuse of the Client i.e. Danske Bank. More than pay the quality of work life also matters

The worst situation. There is no more danske rules anymore. The take home is definitely less
