As long as you are ready to adopt the customs and culture changes without any complaints life will be good else be ready for the additional friction, if you go ahead. Saying additional because the standard challenges are always there but if you are married out of cast be ready to hear "hamare iski nahi hai to .. apna chalati hai .. apne Ghar ka yaha mat batao.. aise hi karna padega.." We don't marry only the person.. the family plays a vital role.. even if they accept today.. every small difference can be a mistake for them .. and then their taunts are is going to be there... causing tension between you and your spouse..

How much you want to complicate your life and also if other person is your choice.. if you accept whatever they say happily.. all good ..

Btw do remember, culture and customs are like traditions and are part of daily life not just on festivals..
