Any chances of getting released during the notice period?

Guys can someone please tell me for sure or any workaround to get released during the notice period as I really need a release but I can't afford being in this project another moment as it's taking a toll on my mental health. I've asked for a release multiple times but there's no response. Upon that they say I'll get a release next year. Also as I need to switch over to another technology it's hard to do so given my current experience. Would really appreciate any insights if possible please!
