Any Business Analyst who can help ?

I am trying switch from a micro services developer role to a Business analyst role. I have completed my MBA with business analytics on correspondence now I am trying to connect with the people who works as a business analyst so that I can know about the workflow and would know about things that I should learn before giving my interviews. So if you guys are working as a business analyst let me know what are the things I should be strong with and suggest me the tools and certifications that I can have in my resume so that I can stand out of the crowd.
