Any advice for Graphic Designers?(Freshers)
Hey, please share with me any tips or advice you have for me. I would really appreciate it.

Learn UX UI design. Has more money I would say. But yes, check if you’re interested in it first by watching some videos on YouTube.

DO NOT

Aspire to be a graphic designer with depth. If you aspire towards the easier or easily paying jobs like ui/ux you'll soon be obsolete. Don't forget you'll be working for a good 40 yrs. Choose a field that you love working in and love feeling the pain of the effort. Think global not local. And please please learn to take career advice from.more reputable sources than Grapevine 🥲

I head a large Visual Org, my 2 cents, get on top and be an early adopter of the new emerging technologies like Gen-Ai, Gaussian Splatts, VR/AR. Focus on the potential 2nd level application that will arise vs the immediate applications.

@UnsungRaiment again, I’m not pushing you to change the field. There’s nothing wrong in just seeing if it interests you. See every job comes with its pros and cons, so does this field.
For context, I suggested to explore this because for a long time no one told me there was something called UX UI design even though I was very inclined to pursue design as a career.
So consider it just an additional option to have a look at. I’ve had graphic designers around me who showed interest in transitioning to UX UI after a while. Many didn’t even complete the few basic courses I shared with them. Some transitioned.
Coming to money and passion. That heavily depends on one’s situation. Not everyone has the option to follow passion and make money in it at the same time.
So nothing wrong in you pursuing graphic design as your career but don’t limit yourself. That’s all I would say.

I agree with @CorporateChodu passion for work over trend, UX design/research is no dreamland. Even people in graphic design make money with experience.
