Anxiety of a new task

Hi, I am a software engineer at a startup. I have nearly 1 year of experience. Anytime any new tasks come up where I have to build from scratch, I struggle a bit. I agree improving a skill level can help but sometimes things will be totally new. How to cope up with this?

It will be fine after some you gain some experience. Try to break your tasks into smaller achievable parts and ask for help wherever needed. Do not shy away from taking on difficult projects as it will help you get out of your comfort zone and also build self confidence.

Hey this is normal - you’re just starting your career and everything would be new to you. Take the help of your mentor / colleagues / the internet.

Asking questions is how you learn and honestly that helps your senior colleagues see things from a different perspective as well.
