How the performance ratings[5 rating scale] i.e distinguished performer,exceptional performance... are being calculated. Does it include quarterly performance rating into consideration?

Yes, average of all quarterly ratings. It is auto-calculated once the manager feeds last quarter's feedback.

Really? doesn't seems correct as there are only 5 rating categories like distinguished performer, exceptional exceptional performer, very good, good and needs improvement. However, Average could be anything between 0 to 10.
