My manager is currently on leave. Does Annual leave gets auto approved if the manager fails to approve it within a stipulated period?

There should be a provision that if the managers are not approving it within 5 days, then their annual leaves should automatically get deducted from the system.

Yes its gets auto approved after 5 days.
But the morally sick idiotic managers should approve it ideally once they receive the leave notification emails.
