
Anniversary Appraisal
Hi TCSers I am a digital fresher, joined in June of 2023. My anniversary Appraisal is on June 1st. How does this appraisal happen and how much can I expect in salary increment (if any)?. And also want to know the things to look out for in the appraisal process.

Set clear cut expectation from manager. Demand rating more than 4.5.. system rounds it to 5. And you will get mac hike possible (whatever is decided by tcs). If its less than 4.5 then systen rounds it to 4. Which is little less. And u shd not get anything less than 3.5 otherwise u wont get much considerable hike.
So aim for more than 4.5.

Hi is this ipf rating u are talking about that all is over whole team got 3.8-4.1 rating so how much hile can we expect can u please tell this rating is showing in speed in detailed ipf sheet and btw all 4 of us are fresher joined in aug 2023 as digital

You need to initiate your Ann. Appraisal in SPEED with the help of Lead and start commenting your achievements. You should be contributing something outside of usual deliverables. It could be PI, Innovista, hackathones, good T-factor, certifications and take up SPOC roles within team etc. More importantly, be proactive and be visible to your management. If Lead is happy with your performance, he can't give you less than A/B band. Usual hike % for A/B band is 6 to 8%.

If your rating is rounded up to 5 then you can expect 10% salary hike.

You won’t get hiked for Anniversary appraisal.
