An honest poll about Frontend Lead Salary, 7 years of experience
I am planning a switch and need a reality check of how the salaries are getting paid in this unpredictable and layoffs market. My current pay is 25LPA with 6.7 YOE
Kaun de rha h bhai is economy me >40 LPA 7+ walo ko. Sometimes I wonder if people on grapevine are really that lucky or they tap on those numbers just to fuck with other people!
5plus valo mil jata hai bhai above 30-35 not sure 40 but counter rahega toh hojata hai .mere society mei ek fresher ko 11-12 ka kuch offer Mila voh bhi direct Google se copy karne ke baad
30-35 is still acceptable. >40 also includes 50, 60, 70 ranges. Imagine how few opportunities are. Plus in this job market? it's miniscule.
Freshers on the other hand are easily getting 8+ LPA. I see even no name product companies giving 8-10 LPA to 1 year experienced candidates.
@LazySquare so the thing is it's about demand and supply, if anyone is hiring for this role and depends what are the responsibilities you are getting they will negotiate according to that, because if you are getting crucial tasks to handle they will agree on what you demand (the flaw is if you can deliver as per your 25lpa salary) experience isn't matter if you possess skills, I have seen many working as a frontend engineer and not have 2 years of experience getting best jobs of 60 80 lacs. And I am seeing that some of cyber security penetration testers not getting even 12 lacs though they are possessing best skills among us because in India there is no demand for those roles. So if you have best repos showing your work then I highly recommend you don't negotiate in less than 40 lpa
