nowhere close to real salaries! many sites like ambitionbox make salary estimation based on someone who declares salary on that site itself. then these sites make estimation based on submitted salaries using some "ALGORITHM". if there are many people who have submitted salary info including YOE, position, country/state, etc. then the salary shown by ambitionbox will be somewhat close to the actual salaries offered with those parameters. so always check how many people have submitted their salary info on the parameters that you are searching for, it will be shown like "x people have submitted their salaries for this position" if that's not in triple digits, do not rely on that number.
