Amazon vs Flipkart

Do you prefer Amazon or Flipkart, and why?

I heard Flipkart returns are more difficult sometime back. Is that true? Amazon has also started introducing Service Center replacement for electronics. Thoughts?

Both are getting bad now, but I prefer a direct shop or company website for electronics as online are sending refurbished alot

I too prefer offline shops for electronics. But online ones have discounts.

Discounts are too high to skip though.
E.g. I went to buy a washing machine, shop guy quoted 45k, in sale got the same at 26k (and it was brand new too)

Amazon if the price difference is within 4-5%. Flipkart only if what I want to buy is really significantly cheaper.

Flipkart support is sad and depressing. Plus 69 types of different fees that are not refundable.

Amazon anyday. Returns are seamless and CS is always one call away. The return process at flipkart is like hell and you can forget about refunds in case of missing or damaged items

My experience with Tata Neu is too good - in terms of pricing and cx support

Do you have the Tata Neu card?

Does Tata Neu have discounts on par with Amazon or Flipkart? I haven't used it hence asking.

In whatever the product is available and is less expensive.

Haha, this is the answer I was looking for. They are virtually the same, go with whichever gives you the best deal.

Flipkar return policy is better than Amazon I feel. If I opt for return in the morning, by afternoon pick-up will happen, by night, I will get the refund in UPI bank acc.

Amazon has more authentic products, and wide range of products compared to Flipkart. Refund takes time though.

I purchased few books from flipkart, mostly fake with bad print quality and page quality. Amazon, in terms of quality doesn't disappoints.

Flipkart has a marketplace fee of ₹5/- these days. But that is non refundable. So poor quality products, even when returned, flipkart makes money :(

Amazon has marketplace features too now.

What are you guys talkin about. My personal preference for online big purchases is Amazon, because of their best customer care. I recently got HP Omen for my gaming needs on Amazon. Didn't get brick or anything.
After a while I noticed the warranty id was not right. Amazon's customer care were so helpful in getting it fixed..

I was in depression when I received a defective laptop. I used to call customer care everyday. At that time there was partial lockdown in 2021. There was no pickup option available at my location. After constantly calling for two months I got refund . I had to schedule a pick-up from a location which is 90 km away from my remote village. Returns are easier in cities.
