Amazon vs AWS?

Job role wise, yes. They are very different products and have a very different use case for problems that need a solution for. In my experience the shopping site folks are spread out in very tiny sections that handle small sub projects. For AWS, while they still have different product teams they seem to working together, atleast on paper.
