Amazon support engineer 3(L4) salary

My friend is expecting an offer from Amazon at Support Engineer 3(L4) level, can anyone share any datapoints regarding salary for this role?

Not worth it.

I am a Support Engineer 3 with 3.3 years of overall experience. My CCTC is 20.5 LPA. The growth in this field is slow, trivial and the tasks are mostly operational.

After almost 2 years of being a support engineer I have had enough. Currently I am upskilling myself and looking for better oppurtunities.

With 7 Yoe probably your friend should have atleast go for senior support engineer role (L5).

L4 base salary band : 13 to 18 LPA L5 base salary band : 16 to 25 LPA (not sure)

Don't think it is worth it to join at that level for a YOE 7

This is not a SDE role so you can’t compare it to SDE ladder, support starts from L2
