You already answered your question.

Ankur wariko gets a lot of shit on the internet but his one line stuck with me.

“If you can’t buy something thrice (without emi), it’s probably not the right financial decision to buy it.”

Doesn’t work always but it keeps you humble and helps with impulsive buying syndrome.

You should definitely buy it, what's life without new phone

Shouldn't have bought the car in the first place, please don't get trapped into EMIs

Bought the car in march 2022 and 8 more months to go.

If you are from rich or settled background then go ahead. Yolo. If not then it is time to read about investments and understand how compound interest works. Good luck

You should get a phone in under 30k instead and buy some stocks or mutual funds. 20 to 30k ranged phones are good enough for most use cases. Also, 20k per month on a car loan + around 5k a month on maintenance cost, that's like more than 50% of your salary gone on a leisure that you probably could easily avoid with a public transport or a two wheeler. The rest 50% you wanna spend on more EMIs? You are already on the verge of falling into a debt hole. Either increase your salary or lower your expenses.
