Amazon overhiring
Amazon overhiring I am doing 6 month internship at Amazon right now.What I personally feel is they have overhired .We all now that they overhired sde1 in 2022 leading to the layoff right now but they also hired too many interns.I don't know the reason maybe use and throw.
So what are the chances of getting FTE for you guys this year?
I do not have any idea bhai. My senior told me usually conversion rate is quite good in Amazon but this year the case is different. Amazon has hired two many interns this time ,highest of any year and many interns already have full time offer 6m+fte . They are also not sure that whether there offer will stand or not
Even last year a bunch didn't get converted to FTE.
In my college, they blindly hired Interns and it included those who literally started coding 2-3 months ago. Also they increased the stipend by 30K
