Focus on your skill development. Complete whatever trainings and certification asked by tpd or HR with high deligence. Just consider this is high time and avoid other time killing leisure activities. You will definitely make a way out of it.
In case you failed, whatever you have learned during pip duration will be helpful to crack interview having immediate joining.
Switch as soon as possible !
Dont waste time on these useless things and certifications, prepare yourself on any technology and start giving interviews.

Even after clearing the PIP goals also it's not sure that you'll clear the PIP & continue your work they may point out of the box questions like behaviour/seriousness & etc...
First check assigned task are easy to clear if yes do continue... either search new job
What’s your Unit and what about your tasks are they doable
