How's the salary? Can you give a few examples?

Base starts around 30-50L, Bonus also starts around similar range. If you are moderately successful your bonus could grow to the few Crs range.
Is this the salary for (A) strats who experiment new ideas in python or (B) the coders who develop the production level code on top of finalized idea in C++ or Java?
How's the interview process?

Hard. Refer another comment for details.
I know it's hard lol. The question was more towards the actual process; interview rounds, type of rounds, etc. And how do these things change at different levels?
I previously interviewed at Jane Street, 2 sigma and citadel and was surprised at how different the processes were.
Last thing, I’m fascinated by AT, so forgive me for asking lot of questions.
Do you also get to invest your own savings in your funds? Like I heard if you work at medallion then you do.

No issues :)
Not yet, although firms do have this provision for senior people.
What branch are you from? Do you have a fab jee rank? Do HFTs or hedge funds look at EE/Physics degrees from IIT seriously for a quant role?

Can't say, yes, yes
How about something like engineering physics from a top IIT? Is a CS/EE-level jee rank make or break or can it be compensated by stuff like cgpa, projects, cp, etc.?
