Am I underpaid?
I have joined as a fresher in 2022 with 4LPA in Development Project. its been 3 years almost and i am getting 5 LPA now. and my job responsibilities are more compared to other freshers in the team who joined along with me. my role is Analyst 1 Software Enginnering now. is 5 LPA right or should i be getting more?

It's too much actually in DXC and if you compare any other organisations then it's free of cost you are doing and getting only your power and food bills .

In my case, i have joined non technical job for 3.5 yrs at that time my salary was 3.5lpa, after i switched to development role for 15k per month in other compy, then again switched to other cmpy with 4.5lpa, now i am at Infosys they offered me 7.5lpa.. total work exp 5.6yrs and dev role 3.3 yrs

You should be getting more , you have enough experience, don’t stay for more than 3 years if you’re not getting growth , better to switch

Most of us in IT are 'underpaid'. It depends on guidance, first project/company, and LUCK.

Bro with 3 years there are people getting 20lpa+ and there are getting 5lpa+ just ask yourself after 3 years of hard you really deserve only 5lpa??? 5lpa is not bad could be a good salary but in IT it's just entry point. I suggest you to prepare for switch
