Yes in that case its underpaid, being java developer with strong technical and problem solving skills you can easily ask for 20L+ in any organization you can ask for 30+ if you try for JPM,MGS and Big4, have you switched in your total experience ?

Bro it's too much underpaid. They are literally exploiting you. There starting package is 4.5 lpa and in 5.8 yrs they just increased it to 8.5. only 3L growth? Just 66% in 5 yrs? You can easily get double of this if you switch.
