You are not underpaid, you are extra paid. Usually in cognizant you get around 10 to 13 LPA with 9 years experience if you join as a fresher. if you join as a PAT you get around 4.5 LPA, then after 2 years you get promoted to associate with 6.5 lpa and then after 2 to 3 year, you again get promoted to senior associate with around 10 LPA.
