Have read in many places that people use this formula as a benchmark to decide if they are unpaid. Its generally for tech roles in India. Not sure how true it is though.

Formula :
Salary = 5 * YoE

So you should be somewhere around 20-25 LPA according to the formula.

It's 3YoE. Unless you are in some startup or product company. In fact, with Witch companies, you'll be getting only 2 to 2.5YoE.
