Am I underpaid?
Guys, This is my first company and I currently work as a full stack developer with 2.5 years of experience. We a small team, right from requirement gathering till deployment is done by only me and other senior developer. My current LPA is 6.9L, am i getting paid less? Should I switch? Location : Bengaluru

7.5 LPA is fresher salary nowadays. So being a full stack dev person, after 2.5 Y experience, you should be able to hit 12.5-15 LPA by proving your worth in market.
Minimum 12.5 in MNC, 14-15 in mid range companies, 15-18 in startups.
I am a Frontend developer expert in React and related tech. I interviewed for a role which offered 10 LPA. I got the job but when I checked later on the job posting they had a budget of 10-20 LPA. They literally got me at the lower limit of their budget lol. I will stay here for some time and plan to switch to full stack or SDE roles after 1 year or so

So sad

Yes

Thank you for the reply
Can you please tell how much I can expect or ask if I am planning to switch?

Have u relocated to Bangalore?

I'm in service based as full stack dev getting 9lpa.

How many years of experience do you have?

10 years back SAP, Oracle, Dell, NetApp were paying 7-10 lpa to BTech freshers.
Now it's almost doubled in these tier-2 paying companies.

Lol

YES
Naa na bilkul sahi hi hai

You are under slavery my friend, 6.9 in 2025 is nothing. You should atleast be getting 25 lpa fixed with ESOP and 5 lpa variable pay and 30 days paid vacation
