Am I underpaid?

Role: Associate Product Manager Current CTC: ₹15 LPA Company: SaaS, Series A (backed by top-tier VCs like Accel)

Experience:

• ~7 years total • 3 years in PLG and growth-focused roles • 3 years building 0→1 MVP SaaS products in an agency setup • ~1 year as an APM in a SaaS company

Education: 12th pass (no formal degree)

Context: I often find myself owning problems and driving outcomes similar to what PM-2s handle in my network. I have worked hands-on with enterprise-grade AI features including evaluation frameworks and production constraints, not just surface-level AI PM work.

Given: • the scope of work • depth of ownership • my experience mix of growth, 0→1, and SaaS

Questions: 1. Does ₹15 LPA seem underpaid for this profile in India, especially SaaS, AI, and B2B? 2. What would be a realistic salary range I should target if I move to a PM-1 or PM-2 role? 3. How much does the lack of a formal degree realistically cap compensation at this level?
