Am I Stupid 😭?

Got my first Job in 2021 in TCS, worked as a java support engineer.

Later i learnt React js for better growth and package, then I switched to Accenture in Nov 2024 as a React js developer. I'm doing tasks using AI. Now I lost interest in React js.

Now I'm learning Data engineering, Planning for next switch.

Am I stupid? Since iam not focusing on single domain??

My age is 26M. My short term goal is earning more money to clear off my father's debt.

Please advise.

I would suggest stick to one domain and keep learning variety of things under one domain . Like if you intrested in dev focus on some language and just the library and frameworks used with it. It's ok to explore different tech stack too. But jumping from dev to data science , infrastructure, security and devops requires totally different skill sets. That would make you work in a very scattered manner and will show a lack of focus on one thing, hampering growth . Working on a single domain has better growth in my point of view then working on a scattered manner. But yaa obviously different people have their own journey in IT. Make yours unique one 🙂

I would suggest stick to Data engineer now and learn it properly and try to get good exposure. Always use a concept of primary skill and secondary skill. Primary skill should be perfect and you can add on secondary skill which should be relevant or relate to your primary skill which will give you advantage in job switch as well.
