Am I rude for doing this?
My manger is in USA and I am in India. I recently joined this company and during the daily stand up he greeted me with good morning and I just replied back with Hi followed by his name and also said Hi to the entire team. I didn’t reply back with good evening or whatever.

It becomes a habit (neural connection) to overthink in little actions or things. Basically you’ll start to analyse or critic your actions a lot more overtime. Whereas the counter party may not think anything at all of it. It’s just not a healthy habit to form for ur brain.

Dude this is how it starts, OVERTHINKING. I have been there & it kills every happiness you ever receive. Because gradually you even start to doubt if you're really happy or you did something wrong. Or if your happiness is result of something bad you did. 😂 Agh! Stop right there. Say whatever you want to say, greet however you want to greet. Corporate is gonna get nuts in sometime.
