Trending @Infosys; Am I paid as per the market value?

Folks i have been in Infosys for almost 10 years now. I joined in 2015 with 9 LPA as CTC. Now i am a cloud Operations manager, cut to 2025 now my package is 33.6 LPA which includes fixed, variable and stocks, and i have overall 14+ YOE. I have loved every bit working for Infosys, coz every project had new challenges and new learning’s

Million dollar question is am I underpaid?. I see all the posts and comments ur salary should be 2x or 3x or 4x ur experience, but don’t know who decides this. One thing is for sure we all know what should be our value and demand with the skill sets what we possess.

I am not posting this for entertainment or likes or for some sympathy, nor am I boasting. I just need to know how is the market with respect to my experience and package and nothing more, since it’s been 10 years in the same company. BTW I am happy in Infosys, to be honest money is not everything for me.

I think this is a good package as per market rate. I am a lead myself, started my career in infosys at 3.2 LPa an year earlier than you, yet it took 3 yrs to reach actual 3.2 LPA. Now at 11 yrs of experience, I am earning 11.7 LPA. I guess you can be happy with that package that too in Infy.

I understand how it is, since u are in infy for 11 years, have they given u ESOPS? And did u ask for Any salary corrections?. My package is somewhat better touch wood because, in the last 10 years I have got 2 salary corrections and 1 promotion And couple of times I have received ESOPS

I never received ESOPs, even though I asked them 2 yrs ago. Have been consistently performing with Os and CD ratings all throughout except for one year in COVID. I got a salary correction only once in 2021.

I had multiple appreciations and awards on unit level, yet somehow the management didn't embrace me as their own, just made me work on critical tasks as I delivered well. I put papers and got an offer now. Will be out of Infy by end of next month.

P.S. I still think Infy is a good place to stay and learn, minus the Financial part.

In 2015 itself you got 9Lpa, in 2025 with 3 yrs of experience I'm getting 9 L at Infosys. I don't know whether I should laugh or cry about my situation 😅😅

Yes they give, in most cases it’s for long timers and consistent high performers, I have got ESOP’s 2 times one time I got 140 stocks that is RSU and another time u got 260 stocks and that was a PSU and i have got another email now, where they have awarded me another set of ESOP’s, the details are yet to come

Hello 👋, how can one move to your domain? What are the skills needed? Can you please tell?

Considering you are in Infosys and you made it to 33L from 9K in 10 years, it is incredibly impressive. If you are happy with the company, project, peers, then you already know the answer. Your pay for experience depends on your skill set and demand. These days AI engineers with 5 years makes 20L while network engineers with 10 years makes 30L. It's all about demand.

Only way to know your value is to give job interview and get offers from other companies..if the offer as per your skillset and experience is not too much more than your current ctc and then you are okay..if the offers from other places are better ..you will know it for sure🫠
