Am I Making the Right Call by Going for GATE?
Hey Fox,
I need your thoughts on something.
I joined Capgemini 7 months ago and got placed on a billable project just 2 months after my training. The work environment’s good, but honestly, I’m not too happy with the hike system, and there aren’t too many opportunities for growth, even though I’m working as a software developer.
So, I’ve been thinking, and I’ve decided to start preparing for the GATE exam. I don’t want to switch companies before completing two years at Capgemini since it’s my first job, and I want to stick with it for a while. My main goal is to get into IITs or NITs for higher studies.
What do you think? Am I making the right call?

instead become master on codeforces and start cracking top companies with speed

What do you mean what I think? Obviously the opportunities u will get are huge if u manage to get into iits or IISC....compared to cg ...but preparation with job is tough...

Go for GATE... You'll find more opportunities.
