Trending @Infosys; Am I getting under paid as a 5 year experienced java developer? Salary 8.65

I know someone who recently joined Infosys as an Associate Consultant after gaining two years of experience. His package is 14 LPA.

Read this somewhere, might help :
"Someone graduated at 21, but waited 6 years to get a good job.
Someone had no education, but was a millionaire at 21.
Someone got married at 20, but divorced 5 years later.
Someone got married at 30, but found everlasting love.
You’re not late.
You’re not early.
You’re on time."

No it is normal.

Usually salary should be atleast 2 times your experience. In that case you should be earning atleast 10. You can easily reach much more than 10 in a switch.

Even for 7 years I am getting same pay

Yes ofcourse you should be atleast 12-15 lpa as of now as a developer

You should get 14-16LPA as a 5Yoe java developer

I'm also having 5 year of experience I'm also getting same almost, I can feel atleast it should be 13-16 lpa for our experience

My friend is getting 20 lpa with 4.5 yoe
