Am i eligible to get C3A promotion if i am having 3 yrs of experience in TCS as C2, where as my total experience is 7 years 8 Months?
Previous company : 4 Years 8 Months Now joined into TCS on March 2022 (C2 role): 3 Years

I also joined in August 2022 with C2 Grade. I discussed with my manager and Unit Reviewer some months ago.
They have said that, 1 Anniversary and 2 Bands (Atleast B) are required to raise a promotion request. Also sometimes it depends on which Unit you are part of as some units consider total experience as well, is some of unit 8 years of experience is required for C3A. Some units just consider previous band and raise a request. So I think it depends on luck sometime.
I received two bands so far, for the first anniversary I received band 'A' and and next year i received band 'B' and now iam waiting for new Band on this march 2025, so am i eligible for promotion
3.5 should be and promotions are based on management recommendation only.
Don't take promotion...your life will be miserable when you will see 60-70% of your variable salary getting deducted.
