My SR band under account details is showing as B2 and my career band is showing as B1. So, Am I eligible for role based promotion now?

If yes, should I request my manager for promotion or will it be automatic after few months ?

Can anyone clarify on the role based promotion process ? Thanks in advance.

It's always recommended to request the manager... So, I'm also in the same situation.. I sent out an email to my delivery manager with my manager and hr in cc. Point out your contributions and appraisal you have received....and request them for band progression
