Am I being underpaid
I have 5 years of experience as a front end developer. I have less than 4lpa package. I could not work for more than a year due to maternity. I am afraid to switch companies because I think it will affect my work-life balance. But I am getting more responsibilities now, so rethinking my decision

Very much underpaid! You can get till 20 LPA if you switch!!

5yrs and you're still in TCS? Highly recommended by fellow TCSers and Ex-TCSers : Do not stay in TCS for more than 2yrs. Make the switch as soon as possible.

Switch the company. Then buy washing machine, Mi Robot floor cleaner and then keep 2 maids, all will be settle good and you can save decent amount of money every months

This is just the worse in my opinion. My stomachs hurts.

I feel they don't give increments on maternity leave and as you said that you have just 1 year of experience means you were on the bench for a long time. I will recommend you to stay for 1 year more if you are getting things to learn because if you show 5 yrs of experience then the interviewer will also ask questions like that of 5yrs of exp and you may not be able to answer so stay and learn and then switch and if no learning then switch immediately

I couldn't work for one year due to pregnancy +maternity. It sums up to 4 years of experience. I now work 2 web application as a react developer. I am learning more but the pay is less.that is my worry

Take a leap of faith on yourself and switch to a new company

Inside this jhathu organisation everyone is underpaid only bootlicker and female candidates (due to tharki managers) are getting good appraisal.

Don’t think too much.. just switch the company
