Am I a rebel in the team?

I work in a US-based consulting firm as a software developer (not Big 4, relatively a smaller company) in a team of just 10 people (only 10 developers for the whole company size of 800+).

Here, it's kind of an overload of work for everyone as the software team is heavily understaffed! People start work from 10 am and work till 9 pm... skip meals/breaks or eat lunch at 4 pm to continue working till 8 pm or beyond... No distinct roles assigned — one should handle UI/UX, front-end, DBs, and back-end development independently, and somehow the people here pull off things and build stuff!

Now, I am relatively new to the company (6 months). It's not a paymaster either (none beyond 17 LPA, except the director who's fetching 40+ LPA).

I worked in a big Fortune 500 company before and switched here. I used to start my work at 9 am and try to end my day by 5:30 pm. I don't go beyond limits, etc., but ensure to complete my assigned tasks within the given timelines. I’ve made a few friends in the office (as I shifted to a new city along with this job). I take breaks (2 times a day other than lunch), hang around, see my phone, etc. (which all of us do)... But I’m getting complaints from my manager as below:

  1. Me leaving at 6 pm is a bad example, and since the team works till 9–10 pm or 3 am at night, it demotivates them, and they might also start doing the same.
  2. Talking to friends, taking breaks, watching reels, etc., is bad manners/affects work etiquette in the working cabin; hence, I should avoid phones and take fewer breaks (so as not to set a bad example for other employees).
  3. Even though I am doing the given tasks, they don't see commitment or have trust in me, and I can be assigned a bigger task only after observation since "WORK IS NO JOKE" for them!

I mean, am I crossing limits or are these people micromanaging me too much? My prakruthi is like this! I don't sit with a stern face in front of a laptop for 13 hours straight! I have a life too... But yeah, I don’t want to be too out of sync with the team here.

Can you guys pour your views on it? Thanks.

Just change the job, And I sort of agree on the break thing, don't take noticeable breaks, and if you want chill atmosphere and move there
