Already have an offer in hand 🤫

What is the best time to disclose to the HR that you already have an offer in hand.

I didn’t disclose it before or during my interview process. Now we are close to the HR round where we discuss salary.

Should I tell her I have a better offer in this discussion round or wait to get their offer in hand and then tell them?

Do it whenever you want just tell them last time you asked I didn't have an offer letter but since then this company approached me and now I have an offer letter or wait for a day or two and then say ... doesn't matter...also stop flexing

I’d suggest to inform at the earliest.

  1. Your profile will be fast tracked as you’re serving notice.
  2. You don’t have to waste any time if their budget is less than the offer you’re holding.

Do they usually tell their actual budget at once or do they usually say a lesser amount? Any idea? Let’s say if they say our budget is 15lpa, is it possible they’ll go upto 17-18?
