Allocated in support project without intimation or my confirmation
I'm a cloud data engineer with 5 years of experience in TCS and recently I got on bench and one support project called me and after knowing project details, I informed I'm not interested in their project as I'm looking for cloud based development projects. But they have allocated me in their project without taking any confirmation or atleast intimating me so I reached out to RMG to report this issue but they are asking me to continue in the project instead helping me getting out of this project and HR replied they can't do anything in allocation related issue. Now I'm clueless whom to reach out or how to resolve this issue other than resignation. If you know how to resolve my issue, please let me know !!
This has happened with me before. I simply mailed the rmg that I'm not going to join this project as the skills required doesn't aligns with myne and my aspirantion. Then I got call from the same project delivery incharge and I informed her that I'm not going to join this project, then she called multiple hr's and some other stake holders. I politely said my concerns and also mentioned that I can't be forced to join any of the project. They just tried threatening me that they will take stringent disciplinary action against me, I said kindly proceed. Within 10 minutes after that call, I got the mail that I have been removed from the project. It's almost 3 montha back story. In general, you can't be forced to join any of the project if it doesn't aligns with your skills or aspirantion but you need a valid point to say no to any of the project. Also, I don't know what action rmg might take as per the new deployment policy but still I don't think that anyone can be forced to join any project.
New policy clearly mentions that associate must be flexible. What worked before will not work now.
I'm gonna say the same thing cause I don't have bus or cab facility there from my location and this reason they can't ignore and project manager is a psycho I felt as he backdated my allocation and complaining that i didn't report to him !! So unprofessional yet RMG is supporting them
This is not a new story it’s been these before Covid itself
