I have cleared all 3 interviews at publicis sapient and got a mail from HR for document collection. After that HR called me for salary negotiation and not offering me salary more than my current offer. In fact it is less than my offer in hand. HR said he will get back to me after talking to his manager. I waited for 1 week for a call and called HR. He said he never said I will talk to manager and they can only afford the amount stated. HR is very rude and treated me as if I need job more than they need me. Even though I have another better offer in hand, why such behaviour? I think HR needs behavioural training.
Then you should understand that it was HR way of declining politely. Your salary demand was not within their budget.
Then they should not conduct so many rounds of interviews.
So many things happen behind a hiring process lot of last minute calls and what not. It’s just how the system is and we should just tackle it and move on. How many accept offer and use it to score another offer and update HR last minute. Months of work just going to waste and again they need to start work from scratch to fill the position. So it’s just how the system and business is and we have no other choice. No point in pin pointing the minor or major flaws in the process.
Please start recording your calls when you speaking to these 3rd rated characters. One of junior was asked to resign from the company and the HR gave a promise that they will pay him 3months of salary but once he was resigned there is no response from HR team and finally he got the number of the HR gave him the promise. "Who are you !.. how u got my number ?.. I didn't remember what promises I gave to you !.. if you call me again. You will face the legal consequences" this is response what he got finally. He was paid 40000 which is his PF amount
