Trending @Accenture; AI WILL TAKE UR STUPID JOBS
People keep saying AI will take your job. But in my current project, we aren’t even allowed to use GitHub Copilot. The virtual machine barely works, and if I try to open GenWizard, the whole system freezes because of lag. They can’t even provide a proper laptop to developers, yet they hand out MacBooks to managers who barely use them. Ironically, I already have a MacBook, but we’re not allowed to use personal devices either.
So what exactly is this so-called “AI reinvention” ,”Agentic L**D AI” everyone talks about? Right now, AI just feels like a fancy buzzword something management loves to advertise, but has no real support on the ground.
The sad part is, while engineers struggle with broken tools and slow machines, the same useless decision-makers will continue to remain in charge.
In reality it womt happen quickly. May be it reduce the count of man power but it cant take control over employees. Consciousness matters. What i would suggest is adapting to AI tools is better for surviving.
U didn’t get my point. It just that some of the client project are as useless as our MDs. They don’t focus on the productivity. In PBC they provide good laptops to their employees, in SBCs they just want the work to be done. Huh…
