Mainly the hype is coming from LLM vendors and startups who are selling their AI services, and from VCs who have invested in them. It's just a marketing ploy from them.

Everything is promised always as "In 5-10 years XYZ will happen". And those goalposts keep changing. 😂

It's just a classic grift to get money and investments today in the name of future promises 😊
