
AI will replace Programmers/Engineer ?
Nowadays, everyone is saying that AI will replace engineers, and it could be the reason for layoffs. This situation is making me more tense, especially as I'm primarily a frontend engineer (currently learning backend). If this is true, what should I do? Please guide me.

Two years from now at the most AI will be just another fad. Nothing beyond Autobot reply for support will happen in AI.
When you have WITCH companies talk about it, rest assured nothing much is going to come out of it.
As a thumb rule, any tech if worthwhile, will first appear in defence. Then after few years comes into the civilian side. Very few items have originated in the civilian side and became successful.
