Tbh, personally, I feel these corporations are all using AI term too much and have started using that as an excuse to just lay off people and increase their profit margin.
I mean those currently staying in the organisation are having double the work. If AI is the reason then their load too would have decreased.
Its like a crutch or an excuse. AI is the future but its not at the pace where it can outright replace a human. Right now organisations want to show Profit growth and attract investors so they would throw anything and everything to get it. Including but not limited to using AI to get funds and using the term AI to let go off people thereby reducing CTC and increasing margins.
