AI is unable to solve any newly created hard problems in which it didn't have training

This is the truth, current AI is just auto correct on steroids. But even that is enough to help solve a million problems and make information more accessible.

Part of me thinks apple’s doing it coz its salty their AI is bad.

There was a similar paper by Microsoft too, concluding that use of AI makes human minds dumb. Of course that didn’t need a research paper to conclude, but still,,;

Anyone who understands even basics of how LLMs work should know this. It's just trained to predict the next word with a very, very large amount of data.
