In Payment gateways like Simpl, Razorpay or gokwik, they don't use AI. They mostly use machine learning and data science to enable merchants some level of control over which customer is fraudulent and which one is genuine. They also provide some level of control over which customer can see Cash on delivery option and which only sees prepaid (since cash on delivery orders are more prone to RTOs).
