Have worked with 4 AI startups so far, as Deep learning/ Computer Vision engineer. AI is different, its not like software engineering, operations and any other domain. Things are ambiguous, you need patience, and humility to understand that you’re not always right and there could be some cutting edge research that could either prove you wrong, or disrupt all your ideas and MOAT (ChatGPT), and also BigTech can crush you anytime. Founders either need to be very proficient with ML themselves, or need to build a great team and TRUST them. Apart from this, endless resources like data, computing infrastructure etc etc. Sadly, most Indian founders don’t understand this. AI is a much more complex space.
