Ai Everywhere in jobs
Just a thought I had while trying to ascertain what the future of jobs might hold for all of us. Any and every business(B2B,B2C,D2C etc) would in the end cater to the consumers which are broadly people like us. With this AI thingy, there will be 2 categories of people:- 1. who will either be retained in the market but overworked and always under stress of more layoffs 2. People who'll be out of the market. In both the cases, people would minimize their spend and save more for very basic necessities. For example, if your salary is under pressure you'd want to save for a rainy day rather than just go with your friends to a fine dine restaurant. A similar example could be the dropping sales of the FMCG industry majorly driven by people like us. Thus, there would later be a lesser tax collection from us to the government ,crime rate could increase due to more jobless people. Also, in the end those same organizations would see a reduction in their profits since people will try to minimize their spending. So wouldn't this cause a societal collapse in the long run.
