AI Engineer to AI Product Manager

I am an experienced AI Engineer with 6+ years of experience. I need to know from experienced people about the transition from AI Engineer to AI product manager would be a good idea? I feel blind in my organisation that I complete whatever task is assigned to me. I don’t know about the product or any management related stuff. I enjoy leadership and planning.
