AI Dependency

Lately, I’ve realized I’m becoming too dependent on AI. My day starts with pasting my task details into VS Code (integrated with AI), pressing “apply,” and then scolding the AI if it makes a mistake—asking it to redo, run tests, and raise PRs. This cycle just keeps repeating. Even during calls, I find myself losing interest in listening for long; I just wait for the AI-generated summary. For drafting emails or chatting in Teams channels, I run everything through AI first to check for grammar or tone. In my 11-year career, I’ve only been using AI for the past year, but now I genuinely wonder—how will I handle my next career move without AI? Will I still be able to think the same way on my own?
